1. I’m not sure if its ideal to use generic/vague words like “reflects & wrongfully” ; Could you be more specific!?
2. Can we know who “the man” is? Step-Father / Bully @ school / work-place / Manipulative-Ex-Boyfriend?
3. Most importantly, where is the man in her life now? Is she even aware of her existence, or was she just 1 of the many whose lives he had ruined?

Hope this helps, make your idea stronger….

As gokulthedreamer said.

And it seems to me that of more dramatic interest than getting revenge would be events and influences that induced  the transgender woman to go under the knife.   I’m guessing that’s the dramatic substance of  the “reflections on key moments”, but I’m not sure and I shouldn’t have to guess. The logline might benefit from focusing the spotlight on that facet of the story.

This has Zeitgeist and potential. Suggestion: “When a trans-woman is released from prison she returns to her hometown, triggering memories of her life as she plots her revenge on the man who had her wrongfully convicted.”
