I’m just going out in a limb here. Think this is what’s going on –
“A member of a secretive group called the Clerics must defend his city from an attack by (insert group/force) using (his special power of…).”

This is a complicated one. Clerics, obviously of the church/cloth, were given supernatural powers, or claimed to, by god himself. A lonewolf cleric, obviously the main character, must stop a stronger second attack from happening.

That’s this one. A little complicated and yes, going on a limb, but hopefully people will see it.

I need more of an idea of place here. You mention the inner city, but the clerical reference sounds paranormal? Is it post-apocalyptic?

Not really. More Dark Ages mixed with Futuristic Tech and Supernatural. This is a whole new universe, so trying to say in Blah blah city, no one’s going to know where or what that is, so inner city was the best I could come up with at the time.

It is somewhat of a supernatural world, but it’s got a lot more to it than anything people could imagine. I’m so far off scale, I don’t know where to begin, but I am trying to narrow it down and I’m leaving the time and age out because it’s not relevant, but I am trying to focus on the character, plot, and antagonist.

If they have already attacked the inner city, how are they not already in the city?
