After his workaholic mom is send to work at their native island, Alex (11) will live his first summer at the gransparents village.

As the mom as always worked at top class hotels the family has lived in 5 starts hotels all the time therefore the boy has been raised in hotel rooms and know he will pass the summer months far from the beach and the tourist. This will allow him to connect with his family roots in the vilage and transform him into a different person.

The word ‘His’ seems to come out of nowhere, I get the gist of what you are saying in the logline but it is still written in a slightly confusing way.

When her workaholic mom… (So we are talking about a girl young enough to still be living with her mom)

His son Alex (11) (This is the part that confuses me, who is the ‘His’ that has a son?)

You are rigth is very confusing as I have misplace the pronums, english is not my native tongue and I don’t fell confident using google translate to post in the page. The correct logline wil be :

After his workaholic mom is send to work at their native island, Alex (11) will live his first summer at the gransparents village.

Instead of Alex (11) it could be : her son, that is what I have written in my notes but I change it meanwhile I was writting it. Sorry for the misunderstanding 🙂
