What makes them special or unique from the other love stories? It would be nice to know something about them.0 Share ShareShare on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedInShare on WhatsAppIvyEight6 67 Loglines 89 Reviews 1 Best Answer 40 Points View Profile IvyEight6 Penpusher 2021-04-12T11:11:44+10:00Replied to answer on April 12, 2021 at 11:11 am It’s that they are in different genres.0 Share ShareShare on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedInShare on WhatsAppLotcher 1 Logline 24 Reviews 4 Best Reviews 978 Points View Profile Lotcher Logliner 2021-04-11T09:25:00+10:00Added an answer on April 11, 2021 at 9:25 am I’m afraid this is very vague, I can’t see the intended direction this anthology is meant to be going. I’ll forgive you in the sense that anything anthological is going to be hard to pitch in the first place, but be mindful that people don’t give loglines the benefit of the doubt. Either they spark a clear idea into the reader’s head, or they don’t. Since this pitch comes off as unfinished, the reader is going to assume the same of your written work and see your logline as being representative of an unfocused anthology. As for some specifics I at least some idea of a compelling character, whether that be a broad description of the character’s themselves or perhaps even the character of the city that they all share. Now that I’ve said that, I think your best bet would be to put a spin on the Big Apple and make it unique to your story. However given the added trouble of trying to fit in character goals, an inciting incident and stakes, I think you would be better off making individual loglines for each short story. This is especially true if there is little overlapping between the eleven short stories.0 Share ShareShare on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedInShare on WhatsAppYou must login to add an answer.
