The famous psychoanalyst and psychiatrist Curatemi, talks to his colleague and close friend, Giovanna, a representative of what the specialist considers to be vulgar people, submitting to his judgment some of the most important sessions he holds with his patients. Through the experiences that the doctor tells, it is as if the world opens up in front of them, like a pile of Chinese boxes. The narrator listens, perceiving a very unique and special tone of voice and humor. And among all those mentioned, a woman appears, Julien, whom this narrator, Sergio, also a Curatemi patient, recognizes as his lover. Her personality is so attractive and seductive that it will be difficult for the doctor himself to get rid of her spell, falling in love. But, finally, with the help of Giovanna, Curatemi rebuilds himself, refusing to become Julien's new lover and regaining his status as an aseptic and impartial professional.
To create dramatic conflict and forward movement, the doctor needs a strong goal or an obstacle.
