Thanks DPG – nice and simple.

I was thinking about adding that she is recently widowed and looking to unleash her frustrations, but that might be tricky to convey in the logline.

This reads like it could be a good comedy. Have you considered changing the genre?

          Thanks Nir,

Yes, there will certainly be some fun elements, and even some dark comedy, but I would like it to grow darker and more serious as it progresses and the stakes are raised. So a bit of both, but I think ultimately the intended tone is more thriller than comedy.

I have a new darker, more fun logline:
Grappling with the recent loss of her husband, a stubborn elderly farmer discovers robbers breaking into her remote country manor and decides to unleash her frustrations.

Sounds like a cool movie Paul. What about the logline below?

When robbers break into the house of a recently widowed old woman, she must use her intimate knowledge of the house and her collection of ancient weaponry to take her grief out on the robbers.
