Things that make me go “hmm”.
Why would this dad/teacher need to protect his daughter if it was self-defense? Why would he need to cover it up? It’s already “too late” – a murder has been committed.

What should I do to revise it?

A start is to answer my questions so I can provide logline feedback. Curious why the teacher would have to cover this up.

          Take care.

He covers up the murder by saying that he killed her boyfriend.

OK, simple enough – but why doesn’t he just let justice prevail if it was self-defense? Technically he doesn’t have to do anything except support his daughter’s/defense case.
