Once again, I gotta say I think truth is stranger than fiction. ?Current reality eclipses fiction.
What’s difference will the surveillance make? ?A problem with the premises is that if the public ignored the rape and elected him anyway, won’t they continue to ignore anything new she uncovers? ?
Of course, it you want to make a savage parody then how about ?she captures POTUS in flangrante delicto and the expose backfires: the becomes a viral porn video that makes him even more popular. 🙁
Also, if ?Americans can invade the privacy of the White House with a nanobot what?s to stop the Russians and the Chinese from doing likewise? ?(Who would have an even stronger motivation and stakes).
Now there might be a story hook: ?she leads a team that develops nanobots to get on the inside ? and discovers that the Russians and Chinese are also snooping on POTUS with nanobots.
fwiw
The idea is interesting but I think the movie is ‘outside’ the logline. I mean, the real movie is about what happens after the reporter starts the?surveillance and the logline should capture that rahter than ‘convincing the mit scientists of blah blah blah’.
