This is a movie project that got started on the strength of the story hook (two young men, one Israeli, one Palestinian, discover they were switched at birth) .  There was no script.  The French director immediately committed to the project on the basis of a brief pitch of the premise and a short scenario of how the story might play out. She hired a writer to flesh out the details and rounded up the financing.

This premise sounds very fascinating. I immediately imagined watching a film like this and the drama of the two young men with different identities speaks for itself.

If I had been the French director I had also been keen on doing a project based on this sole premise.  Plus, the conflict of Palestinians and Israelis is always newsworthy.

I also like the structuring of the logline!

      Thanks for introducing this, dpg!
